Private Golden Circle & City Tour
First, the tour starts with a short (1 &1/2 hr) city tour around Reykjavik. Among places we will see are the old harbour, the city center, Hallgrimskirkja church and the Pearl. Then we continue towards Þingvellir (Parliament Plaines), the location of the old parliament and a geological phenomenon. From there we drive to the Geyser geothermal area for a spouting hot spring and to Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall, where on a sunny day you can see a rainbow in the spray above the waterfall. In the afternoon we proceed towards Reykjavik with a stop by the old volcanic crater Kerid.
The tour takes around 8 hours and is available the whole year round.
