Landmannalaugar - Mt. Hekla
First the tour goes to Þjórsárdalur with a stop at Hjálparfoss waterfall and from there through beautiful landscape to Landmannalaugar. Landmannalaugar is an extraordinary beautiful
oasis in the highlands, featuring colorful mountains and geothermal activity. On the way back to Reykjavik we drive along Mt. Hekla, an active volcano that erupted last in the year of 2000.
The tour takes around 10-11 hours and is available during summer (June-September).
